In 2019, graduating from wax-coated floors & a lost rent deposit, Malibu Apothecary was born. What started as a hobby, an idea, and $500 in a 500sqft SoCal apartment, sparked a clean candle business aimed at handcrafting coastal fragrances that give back to conservation.

After always telling myself I’d quit my job once I earned more than my salary, a trip to the Cayman Islands made that promise a reality. I rode my bike from hotel to hotel along Seven Mile Beach, pitching candles one stop at a time, and returned home with four contracts in hand. Back in Los Angeles, space was scarce. My aunt’s spare bedroom turned into a workshop, friends’ garages became makeshift production lines, and driveways overflowed with boxes of inventory.

As demand grew, I built a team, expanded our client base, moved into my first studio, and launched wholesale partnerships - including Dillard's and Shopbop! I hosted workshops for corporations, and private groups, and candles began shipping around the world—even reaching my muses - like Sonja Morgan & Dua Lipa! Soon, we expanded into a 6,000 sq. ft. studio!

Today, Malibu Apothecary partners with world-class hotels, resorts, retailers, and corporations to design custom scents and create immersive fragrance experiences. I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with luxury brands, celebrities, and iconic destinations, but I’ve never lost sight of where it all began—pouring candles by hand on the floor of that SoCal apartment. My mission remains the same: to create clean, transportive scents that bring people back to the places they love most. Looking ahead, I’m continuing to expand our workshops, develop private label collections, and build a home in Abaco, Bahamas that reflects the coastal spirit at the heart of Malibu Apothecary.
